Performance and Methods

Super dispersant LD-1390 is mainly used to disperse organic pigments in UV inks (printing inks, digital inks) and paints and coatings, especially carbon black. Specific anchor groups and special unfolding chains can quickly wet and firmly adsorb onto the surface of pigments in organic solvent media, forming a protective layer to prevent the re aggregation of already dispersed pigment particles. This significantly reduces the viscosity of the dispersed system and greatly shortens the grinding time. The obtained pigment dispersion liquid (grinding liquid) has high pigment content, high coloring power, high glossiness, excellent anti flocculation stability and dispersion stability. Due to the fact that the coloring strength of pigments can be increased by more than 20% (carbon black coloring strength can be increased by more than 70%), grinding energy consumption can be reduced by 30%, and production efficiency can be doubled, the production cost of ink or paint can be reduced. And it makes the film formation of ink or paint smoother, with higher gloss and clearer appearance.
