First, overview
LD-1090 is a kind of titanate condensations widely used abroad which is equal to the British TELCOM PBT. For the high-content Ti and O, 1090 accelerator is comparatively stable to oxidation and high temperature and can work as basic materials of the heat-resistance paint which can produce more excellent film-forming properties than n-butyl titanate monomer.

Appearance: yellow viscous liquid
Density(25℃): 1.10-1.17g/cm3
Viscosity(20℃): 2000-4000Mpa·s
Flash point: 32-38℃
Third, main applications
1、 Can be heat-resistance paints’ basic materials. In the heat-resistance paints, it has more rounded properties and
can increase paint film’s hardness and adhesive force, resulting in a better overall stretch.
2、 1090 is an eximious surface treatment agent for metal powder used in manufacturing metal powder paint.
3、 Heat-resistance coatings made by 1090 and aluminum powder or zinc powder has a fairly good corrosion resistance
at room temperature and under high humidity.
4、 1090 is the curing accelerator and modification additive of polyester wire enamel and can reduce the baking temperature
of paint films, increase paint film’s adhesive force to metals, smooth paint film’s surface, improve paint film’s solvents resistance,
aging resistance, wear resistance and mechanical strength and so on.
5、 1090 can also be the curing accelerator of organic silicon resin paint and can decrease organosilicon coating’s
curing temperature and improve the heat resistance.
6、 Adding minute 1090 into some coatings can play a role in antioxidation, inhibiting coatings’ crust and paint films’ wrinkling,
improving the durability of the paint film, reducing the tendency of powdering, improving the optical performance and
promoting pigments’ wettability.
Fourth, usage and dosage
As a dispersant, add when grinding, others join in at the paint formulation stage. The recommended dosage is
1-3% of the total amount, but it’s better to determine the most accurate dosage after the experiment.
