Solvent Based Dispersant LD-1040 for coatings

First,Product features

Ld-1040 is a polymer dispersant specially developed for stabilizing inorganic pigments, such as titanium dioxide, iron oxide red, extinction powder, and some organic pigments. Ld-1040 has excellent compatibility with all solvent based coatings, so it is suitable for all solvent based coating systems.

Modified polyurethane polymer

 

Third, Technical index

Active ingredient: 50-54%

Solvent: butyl acetate / alkylbenzene / propylene glycol methyl ether acetate

Amine value: 6 - 16 mgKOH / g

Acid value: 8 - 18 mg KOH / g

Flash point: 24 ℃

 

Fourth,Product features and recommended use areas

Ld-1040 is an excellent titanium dioxide dispersant, which can give better whiteness and covering power.

Ld-1040 is also widely used to prepare matting paste, which can improve the directional arrangement function of matting powder and the uniformity of gloss, and make the paint film have a soft matting appearance. Even after long-term storage, the finished paint can still maintain its performance.

Ld-1040 can also be used as co grinding dispersant in abrasives, and as anti floating color adjusting agent in later adding process.

Ld-1040 has become a general dispersant for all solvent based paints, from high-performance industrial paint to ordinary decorative paint. It has excellent stability to inorganic pigments.

 

Fifth,Recommended dosage

Percentage of dispersant supply form to pigment weight:

Titanium dioxide: 2-4%

Inorganic pigment: 5-10%

Organic pigment: 20-40%

Carbon black: 30-60%

 

Sixth,Storage and packaging

Store in a cool and dry place. When unopened, it is valid for 2 years.

25kg or 200kg net weight in plastic lined iron drum.
