Ink Adhesion Promoter LD-3170
(Similar to Du Pont AA-75)
Summary
The chemical reaction between LD-3170 and resin and substrate occurs. Because the chemical bond is much stronger than the hydrogen bond and van der Waals force formed by resin and substrate, it can significantly improve the adhesion of gravure and lithography inks to substrates such as OPP. At the same time, it can help the ink to form a more tough paint film and improve scratch resistance, solvent resistance and heat resistance. It is a high grade additive to improve the quality of ink, completely replacing imports. It is equivalent to TilcomPI-2 and TA-10.

Performance
1. Improve the adhesion of solvent based intaglio and lithographic inks to OPP and other substrates, mainly for food and other plastic packaging, especially in the case of high temperature, low temperature and solvent contact.
2. Improve the heat resistance of printing ink.
3. Improve the solvent resistance and scratch resistance of the ink.
Applicable ink resin and substrate
1. NC, NC/PU, NC/PA, NC/alkyd resin, NC/maleic resin and other resins containing - OH gene.
2. OPP, PE and other packaging films.
Usage method
1. LD-3170 is added at the last stage of ink production when the ink temperature is lower than 40 ℃.
2. Addition amount: generally 1-4% of the total amount of ink, and the specific amount shall be confirmed by the experimental results.
Advantage
1. It has little influence on the color and luster of the ink.
2. Good balance between stability in the ink tank and use activity.
3. Stable to antioxidants.
