LD-6406 can de flocculate pigments through steric stabilization. It provides equal charge to pigments, so it can avoid the possibility of co flocculation of pigments with unequal charge. Since the particles of the anti flocculating pigment are very small, it can achieve high gloss and improve the tinting power, and also enhance the transparency and hiding power. LD-6406 reduces the viscosity, so the leveling property and pigment content are improved.
LD-6406 is used for solvent containing and solvent free water-based coatings to remove the flocculation of inorganic pigments (especially titanium dioxide).
LD-6406 is solvent free, which can reduce the viscosity of abrasive, so it is suitable for low VOC and VOC free systems.
