First, Product overview

LD-802 chemical name: (ethyl acetoacetate) diisopropyl aluminate, CAS: 14782-75-3, corresponding to MANALOX 360 of American FedChem,LLC Company, (Kawaken Fine Chemicals) ALCH of Japan.

 

Second, product features

This product is colorless transparent liquid, easy to dissolve in alcohol and benzene solvent, meet water reaction. The pure (ethyl acetoacetate) diisopropyl aluminate is very sensitive to water in air, but the stability of the pure diisopropyl aluminate is greatly improved when the solvent is prepared with a concentration of 50-75%.

 

Third, Product use

This product needs to be added at 150 ℃ to 175 ℃, cooking, stirring time according to the specific formulation of the mask paint, up to 1 hour. Compared with titanium chelates, the alkalinity resistance of this product is worse, but it is not yellowing, and there is almost no problem of film coloring.

Some of its commercial uses are as follows:

1, cover varnish: it can significantly improve its dryness, gloss and hardness, also can improve surface wrinkling and viscosity, alkali resistance, water resistance and heat resistance, and can enhance adhesion and storage stability of paint.

2, cross-linking agent: used as cross-linking agent of epoxy, alkyd, polyester and silicone resin, the film has excellent UV light resistance, dry property, water resistance, chemical resistance, weathering resistance and hardness, and has no wrinkle.

 

Fourth, matters need attention

1, as LD-802 products contain isopropanol, flammable, please pay attention to fire prevention.

2. The product is easier to hydrolyze than titanium chelate. Please keep it sealed.
