First, product description
LD-1650 is kind of polymer type super dispersant which contains multi-alloy group. It is applied in all kinds of systems and has great wetting and dispersion to all kinds of organic pigments especially carbon black. It is excellent for carbon black’s viscosity reduction, steady and hue strength improving. Also it can lower operation viscosity of grinding system and increase pigment, filler’s amount. At the meantime, it has strong ability of preventing flocculation from returning thick. What’s more, it can greatly improve storage stability of color paste.
Second, characteristics
Composition: polymer type polyurethane block copolymer containing Pro pigment groups
Appearance: light yellow liquid
Activity content: 50%
Solvent: propylene glycol ether acetate and butyl acetate mixed solvent
Third, features
Suitable for medium and high polarity system, and it has good matching with common coating resin. It has a good generality in the coating system.
It can substantially improve the wetting and dispersing ability for base of material to pigment, decrease the viscosity of the system, improve the liquidity, shorten the grinding, dispersion time to get excellent coarse return prevention ability. With respect to the wetting, dispersing agent of small molecule it can greatly improve the storage stability of the paste.
Fourth, application systems and dosage
It is suitable for middle and high polar system. Additive amount differs according to different systems ,for inorganic pigment 2% - 10%, for organic pigments 20% - 40%, for carbon black 20% - 70% (according to the ratio of pigment surface area).
Fifth, usage
1, Dispersing additives added to the base material, stir, then add pigments and fillers to disperse. Any dispersion method like sand grinding, roller mill, ball milling is suitable.
2, The more appropriate dosage is 0.5%-2.0% of the formula, such as used in color, dosage is 3%.
3, High pigment carbon black, acetylene black and high grade organic dyes need to be pre soaked. First dissolve the dispersing agent LD-1650 in the solution, then add the pigment, high speed stirring 30-40 minutes, place 12 hours, grind to the required fineness, the effect is better.
Sixth, package
25kg or 50kg plastic drum/iron drum
Stay away from heat and fire, stored in a cool, ventilated environment of 0-40℃.
