Solvent Type Coating, Ink Wetting, Dispersing, Anti-Sinking Agent LD-1028

First, introduction

Dispersant LD-1028 can adsorb on the surface of carbon black effectively to improve carbon black’s wetting dipersity and shorten grinding time. Meanwhile, it can improve the film’s blackness gloss. There is no phenomenon of viscosity increase on standing. And it can avoid the effect of floating and flooding. LD-1028 can be used as grinding color-expanded agent of carbon black by adding it into coating.

Fourth, application scope

In alkyd、nitro、acrylic acid、Chlorinated Rubber and PU、PE coatings, it is appropriate for solvent type industrial paint and oiliness ink.

In mixed solvent, the adsorbing capacity to pigment and filler is better than similar additives. It is appropriate for heterogeneity of carbon black adsorption.

This product has good wetting and dispersing effect for all kinds of pigments, no floating and flooding phenomenon in multicolor paint. Also it can improve the adhesive force to coatings and inks, brighten the color and enhance the storage stability.

 

Fifth, usage and consumption

For black paint, the consumption is 6%-12% of carbon black, after diluting with xylene, then add it before grinding.

For black paste, the consumption is 10-15% of the total amount, firstly diluted with low concentration resin liquid, then grinded together with carbon black.

For solvent type coating and ink, the consumption is 0.5-1.0% of total amount of formulation. Adding the dispersant into painting directly, after mixed well, add pigment or filler for grinding(other agents should be added after pigment、filler dispersed for several minutes).
