First, product introduction
LD-105 single alkoxy unsaturated fatty acid titanate, the corresponding designation abroad is
KR-TTS (America Kenrich oil chemistry company).
LD-105 applies to nonpolar and semi-polarity composite material to improve the mechanical strength of the product, especially the shock strength.
It has good viscosity reducing effect and good surface smoothness.
Second, special physical characters
Appearance: wine red thick liquid
Decomposed temperature: 255℃
Flashing point: 100℃
PH: 5
Density (20℃): 0.934g/cm3
Refractive index ND25: 1.42
Solubleness: can be dissolved in organic solvent, can’t be dissolved in water but be hydrolyzed by water
Third, main usages
1. The product is used to deal with inorganic fillers filled polyolefin like calcium carbonate and bone powder to
improve the mechanical property, especially the shock strength and elongation. At the same time,
it can lower the melt viscosity of composite. It applies to resins like PP and PE, nonpolar or semi-polarity polymer.
2. The product can be used in rubber goods like natural rubber and butadiene rubber to
improve tearing strength, pull-apart and prolate rate ,and tensile strength of the product.
3. If used in coatings, the product can lower the system viscosity, increasing solid filling amount
and levelling property, endowing the coatings with good abrasive resistance and resistance to corrosion.
As an inorganic filler surface treating agent, it can deal with calcium carbonate, bone powder and kaolin
to increase fillers’ hydrophobicity and dispersity.
Forth, attention
After fillers’ pretreatment, if discharging storage, it needs attention to heat dissipation (heat of stirring) in order to
prevent the heat resistance of the fillers from dropping. The product is non chelating type, so it can’t touch water
or it will not work. But the free moisture in fillers won’t influence our product.
From the date of delivery, the product can be efficient for one year in a mothballed place under normal temperature.
