First, overview

LD-1109、1109A is produced mainly by special, new type of interface materials, supplemented by different types of additive, 

with its various outstanding functions and good application properties, it can be applied to the coating and printing ink industries, 

especially it has an obvious effect on the dispersion of aluminum paste(non floating type). 

Second, application

(1) Have effects of dispersion、anti-settling、wetting on the oily, water-based coatings and printing inks.

(2) Have a good dispersion of carbon black, phthalocyanine pigments, pearlescent pigments, aluminum powder and various 

organic pigments and fillers.

(3) Effectively enhance paint’s anti-settling and storage stability properties.

(4) Aluminum paste dispersed by LD-1109、1109A has good properties like bright in color, increased brightness, no black, 

increased moisturizing effect and strong weather resistance.

(5) Can improve the adhesive force and the vividness of paint films.

Third, application

(1) General dosage is 1~3% of the quantity of solid pigments and fillers and the recommended rate is 1~1.5%, 

or 0.5~0.8% of the gross paint.

(2) Added before the coatings start to disperse (when the aluminum paste is being beat), followed by 

low-speed dispersion and other normal processes, no specific requirements.

(3) As this product is highly active with surfactant of hydroxyl and carboxyl, for product properties consideration, 

it’s preferable to be added in later in sanding.

(4) LD-109 is suitable for oil-based coatings, printing inks, fillers; and LD-109A is good for 

water-based coatings, printing inks, pigments and fillers.

Appearance: pale yellow viscous liquid

Density(30℃)/ml: 1.02~1.05

Viscosity(30℃)mpa·s: ≥400

Refractive index: 1.4600±0.02

Fifth, packaging and storage 

Packed by 50kg reinforced plastic drums or according to the users’ consultation requirements;

Sealed to be stored indoor under room temperature, valid for one year; color differences do not affect the intrinsic quality.
