Second, overview

This product is a crosslinking agent for coatings widely used in Japan、the United States and UK. It is similar to TiLCOML KE2 of the British Tioxidc UK Lilited and TEAA of Japan Soda (strain).

Third, physical and chemical indicators

This product is light red-brown viscous liquid. Its titanium content is 11%, refractive indexηP is 1.51-2.0, density(25℃) is 1.096，viscosity is η(25℃) is 30Mpa·s and the flash point is 49℃. It can slightly soluble common organic solvents, 

easily soluble in isopropyl alcohol, benzene and toluene. When stored at low temperature sometimes 

there is part or entire crystallization. 

Fourth, usage

1、 For coatings and paints it can enhance the thermal stability and adhesive force of inks.

2、 For coatings and paints it can increase the adhesive force and storage stability of the substrates.

3、 Can be the crosslinking agent for the resins containing –OH

4、 As this product is red chelate, the paint films may turn into yellow to brown when adding into the coatings, 

so it is inapposite for white or light- colored finish.

5、 LD-8013 chelate is generally used in organic solvent-based coatings, however, it also can apply to 

water-based coatings with the existence of alcohol and cellosolve solvents.

6、 For the cross-linked paint, its paint film’s alkali resistance and flexibility get improved.

1、 Flammable for containing isopropyl alcohol, please note the fire.

2、 Due to the strong chelation of ethyl acetoacetate, ethyl acetoacetate and 

LD-8013 can react with metals to produce chelate, affecting the product quality, it’s recommended to 

pack by plastic barrels or iron drums coated with polyethylene.
