Waterborne wetting dispersing agent LD-64192
(Similar to BYK-190)
First, Summary
VOC free and solvent free wetting and dispersing agent for waterborne coatings, printing inks and adhesives. It is a standard additive for concentration of non resin pigment. It is suitable for all kinds of pigments, and its dispersibility is better than byk-190.
The auxiliary agent can make the pigment deflocculate by stabilizing the steric hindrance. Due to the small particle size of deflocculation pigment, it can obtain high gloss and improve color intensity. In addition, the transparency of transparent pigments and the hiding power of opaque pigments are also improved. With the decrease of viscosity, the fluidity is improved and the pigment content is increased.
Second, Typical physical and chemical data

Third, Recommended amount
Inorganic pigments:20%-30%
Titanium dioxide:10%-12%
Organic pigments:30%-75%
Carbon black:130%-150%
Filling 1-3%
Fourth, Recommended use
It is suitable for producing stable resin free pigment slurry with pigment content of 30-60%. These pigment concentrates can be used for mixing of standard water-based base materials, such as acrylic dispersion or water-soluble acrylic resin.
It is used to produce stable concentrated resin free pigment paste to prepare water-borne coatings without floating color and blooming.
Fifth, Application fields
Printing ink, architectural coating, wood and furniture coating, automobile coating, tin coating, anticorrosive coating, leather coating.
Sixth,Addition method and processing guidance
Grinding can only be carried out in water (without resin, amine and cosolvent). The auxiliaries are mixed with water, and then the pigments can be added after the auxiliaries are well dispersed.
