Coatings, Ink Wetting Dispersants LD-110DA, LD-110EA

(Better than BYK-110)

1. Overview

LD-110DA and LD-110EA are wetting and dispersing agents for solvent-based systems, which can deflocculate pigments through steric hindrance. Because of the small size of the flocculating pigment particles, high gloss and color strength can be obtained. It has higher cost performance than BYK-110.

LD-110DA and LD-110EA are suitable for dispersing inorganic pigments, especially titanium dioxide, and can greatly reduce the abrasive viscosity. Because of its anionic properties, it is suitable for acid catalytic systems (such as coil coatings). Electrostatic spraying of coatings containing inorganic pigments can reduce fog.

2.Technical Indicators

Chemical Composition: Copolymer Solution Containing Acidic Groups

Appearance (25 C): Light yellow or light brown viscous liquid

Active substance content (%): 50

Solvents: xylene and butyl acetate solvents

CHARACTERISTICS

Greatly reducing the viscosity of the system

Unflocculation of pigments and prevention of floatation and blooming

Improve gloss, stabilize tone, enhance color intensity

IV. Typical Applications

Industrial Coatings (for Epoxy Floor Coatings)

Automotive Coatings

Coil Coatings

Anticorrosive coatings

3.Recommended usage

It has wide applicability. According to the different dosage of different application systems, the dosage of inorganic pigments is 2%-10%, and the dosage of titanium dioxide is 2%-4%(depending on the specific surface area of pigments).

The dispersing agent is mixed in the base material, and then dispersed by adding pigments and fillers. It is suitable for any dispersion methods such as sand grinding, roll grinding, ball milling, etc.

4. Packaging and Storage

25KG or 50KG plastic bucket

Keep away from heat and fire. Store in a cool and ventilated environment at 0-40 C. Store in sealed condition.
